How Can numbness In The Knees Be Treated?

Several years ago I started having problems with siatica on both right and left sides. it was so severe that now the tops of my legs .... above my knees are numb the right leg is worse. my question is ... usually this only happens in the evening , where the numbness is I get severe itching and if I scratch it gets very red and itches more .I dont have dry skin or anything on the skin . was wondering if it has anything to do with the numbness or nerve damage

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated and rule out tendon involvement.

An MRI scan might be required for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
